2021

I joined Okra Technologies as a Sales Development Representative in 2021. Okra is Africa’s first open banking software company that allows businesses and developers to build personalized digital products by giving access to financial information from all banks and other financial institutions in Nigeria leveraging an Application Programming Interface (API) and a no-code dashboard. I am responsible for identifying potential customers and running the end-to-end sales of the product. I have successfully identified and booked meetings with C-level executives and technical teams of over 700 startup companies in Nigeria, introducing them to the technology offered by Okra with a 30% conversion rate.

I oversee a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market size firms in the consumer tech, e-commerce, gaming, and betting vertical which I have cultivated and expanded a robust sales pipeline worth over £46,000. I have signed up more than 100 businesses contributing to over 25% of Okra’s new business revenue target including a global sports betting company, BetKing which conducts 500,000 monthly verifications valued at £10,000 monthly.


Over 400 businesses are currently integrated with Okra. The company has recorded an average month-on-month API call growth of 281% with more than 20 million transactions. Okra has raised over £12 million in funding with only 30% made public.
