I am currently the business development lead at Assurdly, a quality assurance testing company that offers application testing, test automation, performance testing, product management, and reusable integration services for startup tech companies and financial institutions. Assurdly has built NIBSS-in-a-box, a simplified API version of the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS), the largest inter-bank transfer services provider in Nigeria. This service provides automated processing, settlement of payments, and fund transfer instructions between financial institutions like banks, discount houses, and card companies. Assurdly also built a digital debit portal, Direct Debit that enables instant debit on any bank account in Nigeria with NIBSS via APIs or dashboards.
In my role, I have identified several businesses and introduced Assurdly’s solution, NIBSS-in-a-box to facilitate financial integration. This product allows businesses to experience a drastic reduction in NIBSS processing time by over 100%, effectively reducing it from months to 2 weeks. NIBSS-in-a-box has allowed businesses to revolutionize their operations by streamlining processes and accelerating their time to go live with unparalleled efficiency. I have generated a sales pipeline valued at £102,000 within 6 months, showcasing exceptional results with a 27% closure rate. I acquired prominent clients for NIBSS-in-a-box and Direct Debit like Sterling Bank, Lendsqr, Mono, Duplo, Uniswitch, SourceMFB, OnePipe, among others. My effort has also driven 120% growth in revenue worth £143,000.
